Fun day at the park! - Central NJ Family Photographer

It was so great to see this family again and so fun to see how these boys have grown. (last year's session HERE). We almost got rained out and actually had to move from one park to another to avoid the rain, but we ended up having a great time exploring the park! Great to see you again A family!

Three adorable boys - Somerset County NJ Family Photographer

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting up with the S family again to get some updated photos with their three boys (here they are last year). Their oldest, Mr. D is just learning how to climb a tree (named Bob :)), and he really loves getting up high in the branches. His little brother Mr. A loves hanging out on the lower limbs, but I have a feeling he'll be climbing up into the tree in no time. Somerset County NJ Family Photographer - Adorable Family

I got to meet up with this adorable family at the park over the weekend. Mom warned me that her middle child would likely not cooperate with having his photo taken. As you can see, he, and his brother and sister, had a great time! We walked around the park chasing bugs and catching frogs and butterflies. What an adorable family!

Spring Mini's Day 2 - NJ Family Photographer

Though I only got to do half of the scheduled sessions on the second day of minis because of the weather, it was great to see the families that ventured out under the dark clouds. Rain was threatening the entire morning, but that didn't stop our fun!

First up was the C family, they are always so much fun! I just adore little Ms. C and Mr. H.

Next came the T family of 5, with three girls and another baby on the way. The girls were so sweet!

And the final mini of the day, these two sweet boys, Mr. L and Mr. T. They have so much energy, we had a great time exploring the park!

Thank you to the families that joined me on such a yucky weather day, I'm glad we stayed dry!

Spring Mini's - Day One - NJ Child Photography

We had such a beautiful day on Sunday for the first day of spring mini sessions. It was great to see old friends and to meet some new ones. Here's a sneak peek at some of the adorable kids who joined me for a day at the park...

First up was Ms. K. She declared at the beginning of the session that she was not going to have her picture taken... but she came around and we had lots of fun running through the grass and picking flowers.

Then came Mr. T, Ms. A and Ms. W. They had a great time rolling down the hill and laughing at boogers :)

Then there was adorable little Ms. A. She just turned one year old and was just as sweet and cute as can be.

And the final session of the day was the B family. Sisters Ms. Q and Ms. H weren't too sure about the photo shoot until we got to blow some dandelion fluff and clean up some rocks. Then there was no stopping their adorable little smiles.

The last of fall - NJ Child Photographer, Custom Photography

For my last session with the fall leaves, I met my good friends Mr. O and Ms. A out at the lake for a few fall photos. You'd never know by all those smiles that it was super cold and windy outside. Although I'm not at all ready for winter, I'm excited about the holidays coming up and taking some time off to spend with family and friends. Cheers!

Meet the D family. We spent a beautiful fall day together at the arboretum in Morristown, NJ.  The kids were so sweet. Four year old Ms. R has the cutest little spunky personality, but really showed her ultra sweet side when snuggling with mommy for lullabies. and 17 month old Mr. B just wants to walk, snack and walk some more. Both were so sweet, you can just feel the love in this family. Enjoy your sneak peek D family!

Fall Mini's - Central New Jersey Custom Photographer

I had so much fun with the first week of fall mini sessions! I got to see some familiar faces (including the first family I ever photographed!), and got to meet some new ones. And all the kids were so adorable and so fun! We climbed rocks and trees, we walked around the park, and of course we threw lots of leaves in the air. Here is a little sneak peek from the sessions...

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of playing at the park with this beautiful family of 6. Four boys (yes 4!) ages 4-10, I was nervous about keeping them under control for the shoot, but they were so incredibly well behaved, it was a joy photographing them! and aren't they just adorable!

Their mom, Mary Ann, runs a newsletter and website called Macaroni Kid detailing all the cool things to do in Hunterdon County. Here's her LINK. It's a great resource for local moms looking for things to do with kids, and she always has lots of cool stuff to give away!

Mr. Z and Ms. M are back! - Child Photographer New Jersey

You may recognize these two, they were the subjects of my second photo session ever, back in March. During that first session, we had to stay indoors because it was too cold outside, and the kids got to play in the formal room, where they managed to pull everything out of drawers, spread the decorations everywhere, and even rip a curtain. Well this time, we got to play outside, and daddy got to join us. All was going well, until poor little Ms. M got too close to a bee's nest. The bumble bee got really mad and chased all of us around, eventually biting both dad and little Ms. M (her second bite within a week). She's a tough little girl though, and was ready for more photos within minutes. And she never even dropped her ultra cute pink purse :) I just love a girly girl!

Last week, I got to play at the park with the "S" family. The girls were so much fun! We adventured all around Duke Island Park while the girls rode scooters and climbed trees. Such a fun family!
